Like the Matrix, government can only exist with your participation. You give it power. You give it legitimacy and substance and credibility by voting. Take the red pill, and disengage from the system that enslaves you and everyone else. Listen to George Carlin on voting. There is No Such Thing As Majority Rule. Principled Nonvoting: The Beginning of Disengaging From the State. Vote all you want…the agenda doesn’t change, or vote all you want for a $1 a vote to fund your favorite government departments. I wonder how well government would do with voluntary funding instead of extortion.
The Registrar of Voters will report the total votes and the percentage of the votes received by each candidate or proposition on election night. If the total votes are not posted, insist that they be posted. If the media reports only the percentages, then remind them in letters to the editor of the vote totals and the percentage of the vote totals of the number of registered voters, the number of people eligible to vote and of the total population of the jurisdiction to make it plain that no candidate was approved by a majority of one or more of those categories. Lobby for "None of the Above" to be a choice on every ballot. If "None of the Above" wins, the office is eliminated. If you run for office, change your name to "None of the Above," and make your platform one of doing nothing other than working to eliminate the office.
If your can believe the U.S. Census Bureau, nearly 29% of eligible voters don't register to vote and 36.4% did not vote during the intense election of 2008. The numbers decline with age until 18-24 year old range in which 41.5% don't register and 51.5% don't vote.
No, it does not. That's what politicians, bureaucrats and their parasitic friends want you to believe.
The likelihood that your vote would decide an election is equivalent to winning the lottery. More likely, it was quickly nullified by someone with a different opinion. Even if your vote elected someone, would it really make a difference in governance? Isn't a little slavery still slavery?
Furthermore, voter and vote fraud is rampant. Electronic voting will only make fraud easier.
